UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Donald Trump have discussed developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to address them.
During a phone call, the two sides also discussed ways to further strengthen ties and cooperation in various sectors.
The UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) earlier condemned the Iranian attacks that struck Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, and Iraq's Kurdistan region, which were carried out in retaliation of US strikes on Iran.
