Panama president, Juan Carlos Varela (right) has pledged transparency

Panama's government has announced they will create a committee of experts to recommend ways to boost financial transparency. This comes after the leak of the "Panama Papers," 11.5 million documents that reveal how the law firm Mossack Fonseca helped some clients evade taxes and avoid sanctions. Panama president, Juan Carlos Varela said the report will be shared with other countries so the nations can move together towards further transparency.
