Ajman’s general budget for 2020 is out.
The spending plan (without deficit) totalling AED 1.75 billion has been approved by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.
The bulk of the funds have been set aside for development, infrastructure and economic affairs.
Social welfare, public security and sustainability initiatives are some of the other priority areas.
The emirate will also continue to launch value-added projects and services in line with Ajman Vision 2021.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, said the budget seeks to ensure a decent quality of life for citizens and residents alike.
